So just moved here from down South... I'd need a "floor hammock", any idea where in/around Rayong I could buy one? Something like this:

Good luck. I couldn't find a hammock with "spreader bars" here in Thailand, so I had to bring one from the US

I think that you are going to have to go to a steel fabricating shop and have a frame built if you find a suitable hammock

Couldn't cost that much since it is made up of tubular steel, unless of course if you want to have it done in "stainless" steel

Hmm. Ok. I think IKEA have had something of the kind... I was hoping to find something locally :-/

As a follow up I checked the IKEA web site and they do list two hammocks with spreader bars and recommend a Garo Hammock stand but unfortunately it is not in their catalog

I e-mailed them and received a reply from a Kevin Reynolds. He said they are located in Chiang Mai but can deliver to Rayong.

I'd like to try out their hammocks first, but travelling to CM would be a pain... The stand for full-size hammocks is 5k baht, the hammock chair with stand is 5.3k.
