Yea and the Culture minister will go ape shit with all the olympians in thier skimpy gymnastic and swimming costumes dragging down Thailand. Can't see them getting the Olympics if they will require all swimmers we at 1880's style swim suits.

No, no, no my dear red shirts, grenade-throwing is not an Olympic discipline!!

either are coups or gatherings of more than 5. Can't hold the games with just 4 people and the four day parade to honour Prayuth will drive all the other countries home.

Or the road cycling events disrupted when half a dozen food hawkers push noodle stands in front of incoming cyclists.

Pie in the sky stuff again! This Country will never hold sway enough to host anything like this! And even if they did, they would mess it up. Thailand will always be a minnow Asian country. Last Asian country to hold the Olympics? Seoul!

Settle down, you bunch of clowns. She meant the Winter Olympics, not the Summer Olympics. Which makes perfect sense. Happy now, everyone?

Won't happen.

1. Thailand & Malaysia do not have the excess billions to fund the event.

2. Joint proposals are not considered seriously. The IOC doesn't like them period.

3. Considering the financial fiasco in Brazil and the Sotchi white elephant, no sane government leader would open him/herself up to be a target for wasting such money.

Will that be after the F1, the Tour de France, Stephen Hawking coming to speak, the Space Program or Mike Tyson coming for a pigeon event?

Just want to fill in my calendar.

This will be a joke! Cannot even ride a bicycle in Bangkok!

I had a good laugh too when reading his. Keep on dreaming, Malaysia and Thailand.

Organize some major local sporting events first properly before ridiculing yourself.

The Olympics as they exist are completely incongruent with the Olympic ideal an international scandal, should be banned.

They couldn't manage to build one measly little futsal stadium on time for the world champinships, how can they be trusted to host an event as big as the Olympics?

Sorry Thailand, you are not getting the Olympics for a very , very long time if ever.
