Most accurate weather app android

Featured Replies

I just use the internet one. Weather.com

My Google Now links to it.. As long as the GPS is on it shows weather for where I am.. On a moto g on lollipop just swipe up from the bottom.

There is no such thing as an accurate weather forecast, especially for a tropical area where thunderstorms can be very localized and last for a very short period. I look at the Thai Meteorological Dept website, have tried numerous apps, and the accuracy of all is not very good...tropical weather in Southeast Asia is just so variable and unpredictable in many cases. But good luck in your search.

Can just second that.

Don't look for the international weather sites.

I remember to have read yesterday about temperatures above 40 C on some site,

Nonsense.

Thaimet may not be top of the pops, but there records are plausible.

Also the warning news usually make sense.

After complete redesign of their website, there are still issues, like not having working links to historical data/statistics in the English version.

Still waiting ... rolleyes.gif

Example:

Thai version for Pattaya, historical data, click on the tabs.

http://www.tmd.go.th/province_weather_stat.php?StationNumber=48461

No link (resp. "no data") found from the English version:

http://www.tmd.go.th/en/province_weather_stat.php?StationNumber=48461

Acu-weather is as good as I have found for temps but actual weather, I doubt it. It is just impossible to tell.

So true. I've embarked on the Skytrain during a torrential downpour, traveled 3 stops and disembarked to dry streets and blue skys.

Maybe you could mount your own Doppler Radar on your dwelling.
