So far 228 people, claiming to have lost Bt63 million, have filed complaints with police over UFUN.At 2pm, assistant national police chief Lt-General Suwira Songmetta and Consumer Protection Police Division deputy chief Pol Colonel Angkul Klaikleung led police to search a room on the 54th floor of the 70-storey luxury condominium. The unit worth Bt25 million belonged to Rathawit Thiti-arounwat, a 31-year-old suspect in the UFUN case who is now in custody.Besides seizing the apartment and documents, a television and a 1.5-metre-tall safe box, police also seized Rathawit's Lamborghini, which has a brand new red licence plate. Police found 60,000 Indonesian rupiah (Bt150), a car insurance document and another licence plate inside the car.Suwira said this operation stemmed from Rathawit's arrest on April 10.He said police had seized assets in the UFUN case totalling about Bt600 million.Asked about the identity of a 13th suspect, who police have issued an arrest warrant for, he declined to give details for fear the suspect would escape. Hope the police don't search my car, there's currency worth 174,000 Iranian Rial (actually there's Baht 200) and a car insurance document in the glove compartment in my car at this very moment
April 26, 201510 yr Had there been more than the 60,000 Indonesian rupiah, I highly doubt it would have made it onto the exhibit list. It would have "fallen" into one of the officer's pockets.
