Pony in Samui that needed community help gets prayers answered

KOH SAMUI: -- In April a concerned Samui Times reader contacted us about a pony that looked as if it needed some help near Lomprayah Ferry and Luna Hut in Maenam. Since then a couple of residents have been able to help the pony and pay the initial 1,000 baht bill.

The provincial vet has been to see the pony and has established that it has worms. The pony has now received two injections and the owner now has some pills to administer over the next few days. The pony should show signs of recovery in the next couple of weeks, the vet will be returning to monitor progress.

If anybody would like to make a small donation for the ongoing treatment of the pony please contact [email protected] and we will put you in touch with the resident who are helping the pony.

It took a lot of work to track down the Provincial Vet, but thanks to Miskawaan Luxury Beachfront Villas Management and staff and Samui Times ... we found there is one! Miskawaan Resort Maenam, covered the first bill, to give credit to where credit is due!~thumbsup.gif

It was not a huge amount, but a little more will be needed for follow up... as stated please contact Samui Times, if others would like to help!

Useful info, as he covers the Islands of Samui, Phangan and Toa.... for animals other that cats and dogs, who can be taken care of by several vets on the islands....

The horse lives not far from me, so I will update progress ....

This is the vet...wink.png
