Yesterday my Samsung S4 which I bought at a DTAC service center here in Bangkok a couple years ago notified me a firmware update was available...it was the Lollipop release. I did the OTA last night....the download file size is 1115.46MB in size...took almost two hours to download since the Samsung OTA server seemed to be bogged down and I have a 15Mb internet speed plan...after the download it took around 12 minutes to install & update apps. It all went successfully. Repeated the process today for the wife's S4....same download and install times....went successfully again.

Taking a look at Sammobile website apparently the Lollipop for Thailand S4 GT-I9500 was released on 11 May 15.

Download is 1.1Gb but needs over 3Gb for installation. I had to uninstall a lot of apps amd move/delete a lot of data/files. Not sure yet if it was worth it.
