Europe Braces for Escalation: Germany Mobilizes NATO Troops Amid Putin's Nuclear Threats
Ooooh, so it's all the West's fault now............😂 Not a bloke invading a sovereign nation thinking the West will do nothing.........😂 Not the West being ready for any possible eventuality brought on by a Tyrant........😂 Do you actually think the West is just sitting back doing nothing in preparation for what Putin may do next...? 😂 -

Electrolux Thailand
Bought a washing mashine (and a fridge which is not the topic) from Electrolux in February this year (2 years warranty). In October, when switching on, the display started to change settings by itself like hell, no chance of making a setting whatsoever. For me (ex-service technician on Lab-equipment) it was clear that it's either the display or the motherboard. After reporting the issue, it took 2 weeks until two service technicians showed up to tell me that they have to order a display and a motherboard. They said it will take 1-2 weeks for delivery and repair. So far so good... After 3 weeks I ask them when the repair would happen. As answer I get "Now I already complain to head office". I know from my own experiences on the job, that also new equipment can break down, especially electronic parts. Thats not a problem for me. But after this knowledge with their "after sales" I guess I'll change my decision. Wanted to buy a tumbler and a induction hob (total around 40k bht) already choosed what models. ...except if somebody might tell me that all Thai companies don't care after they sold their home appliances. -

Will Fear of Mutually Assured Destruction Keep Us Safe in a New Nuclear Era?
And thus create a surge of inflation (together with promised high tariffs) , right on time for the midterms! Of course, as usual, he will blame someone else for it! 😁 -

Where To Buy Crown Royal Canadian Whiskey In Thailand
I was told, many moons ago, that the 'local' distributor of Crown was reusing the empty bottles and substituting it with their local brew (or something to that effect). The distributor was caught substituting the alcohol by Seagram who decided that they would never allow Crown Royal to be sold in Thailand except at the duty free shops. I don't shop for it anymore; although, I've got about 2/3 of a bottle in my closet. (one day I'll probably drink it) I've a friend, who is no longer in Thailand, whose wife could get it in Thailand, but he never disclosed how she got it. (he was always well stocked). BTW: I could not find anything about a place called Siam Liquor. -

Europe Braces for Escalation: Germany Mobilizes NATO Troops Amid Putin's Nuclear Threats
If they do, it will be in response to what they perceive to be an existential threat. That's their doctrine. They won't sit around and wait to analyze what might be left of their nuclear capacity if they experience a "first strike." That would be suicidal. On the other hand, we're now seeing chatter online suggesting that the US is perhaps considering transferring nuclear weapons to Ukraine. I'm not sure who the genius is that suggested that, but I can't imagine anything more reckless, Certainly, the transfer of such weapons to Ukraine won't insulate the US from the consequences.. We're also seeing reports of certain Navy officers openly suggesting that the West is "ready" for a nuclear exchange. In short, the West is being reckless and irrational. Both sides need a time out.- 1
