Motorbike Taxi driver injured after apparent teritorial dispute.

Being a motorbike taxi driver here in Pattaya is a risky business with territorial disputes with opposing groups of taxi drivers the norm. This is one such case from Soi Gopia, South Pattaya which took place early on Wednesday Morning.

The victim who sustained a nasty head injury is Khun Pon who was attacked after he had dropped off a customer in Soi Gopai. Khun Pon works in Soi 17, South Pattaya and believes that a man from a nearby taxi rank in the same Soi conducted the attack but cannot be sure because he failed to see his attacker as it was still dark at the time of the attack.

Police arrived but details of the attack were sketchy. Khun Pon was sent to Hospital and was released some hours later after receiving 12 stitches for a head wound.
