You have to select the Quote button for each post you want then hit the "ADDREPLY" at the top not the REPLY button. Also don't include the failed post which has a single ended quote in it now, it will mess up the formatting.

Also if you hit the "Preview" button it will show if it worked or not without making this thread too unwieldly. :o

My example just select the Quote on the first post and the third post then hit ADDREPLY, add your comments then hit PREVIEW to see if it worked.

It hasn't been clear as to whether he is trying to do multi-quotes, which is my explanation, or just quote on a specific post, which is correct the way you say. But don't lick the reply, will mess up the screen. :o

This is really easy to do with the fastreply. All you have to do is highlight (select) the text from another post that you want to put in the box and then when you open the fastreply you hit the "put the highlighted text in quotes" button at the bottom of the text input window.
