And they are absolutely "black bean" (anal) about this. I was in the process of buying a new bike from Honda with 6 weeks left to my visa and they REFUSED to release it to me (though they had NO f4cking problem taking my money!) until I showed a new visa. I hadn't planned on renewing the visa until a week before its expiration date, so this delayed possession of the bike for a month. One MORE reason why Mexico will soon be home.

That was an abuse by the Honda dealer not Thailand. As explained before anyone can register a vehicle in Thailand, as long is legal in country in order to obtain a certificate of residence from immigration. You should have given your business to somebody else. By the way do not think that Mexico or any other Latin American country is easy going with bureocracy.

Why dreaming?

He's unsure if what he's been told by a bike shop is the deal everywhere or not.

Hope he gets a nice Ducati like those pics. Looks brilliant imo.

No problem, I'll believe it when I'll see it.

People buy vehicles as gifts so the license doesn't matter.

I like the bike as art idea, I suggest an MV Agusta.

Sometimes I think about getting a Moulton bicycle even though I no longer ride bicycles on BKK streets.

I think this is art, but costs more than a cheap car so will keep dreaming.
