where too buy old oil barrels (metal)

Featured Replies

What kind of tops are you looking for? Some are full size removable lids, others have small holes.

This is probably not going to help you , but :

On the 101 around 18 km north of Phrae town to Rong Kwang , there are on both sides of the road , oil barrels for sale. You have to be pretty desperate to come all the way from CM....

You don't see many for sale around Chiang Mai.

I think most of them are cut in half lengthwise and used as barbeque pits.

After WWII in the West Indies most of the ones left behind by the GIs were made into steel drums.

on the river road (east side of river) past electric offices there is a shop that has some on display right beside their entrance (LEFT SIDE OF ROAD) going south, its before you get to traffic lights where you can cross river bridge at holiday inn.

you have to watch close or you will overlook it they have some with one end cut out other complete. your choice.

What size drums, generally there are 2 sizes. 209 litre (44 gallon) and the 95 litre (21 gallon). Also are you specifically after oil drums or would old diesel/petrol also do the job?
