Best roads near bangkok?

Featured Replies

Hi, could someone recommend which roads would be good and somewhat empty near bangkok and or outskirts ? Mostly looking to try top speed of my horse.

Such a useful answer

May not be useful to you but an excellent answer, imo.

Do you know how many people live in and around Bangkok? How many cars, motorcyclists, cyclists, pedestrians? How many U-turns, intersections, junctions? There is nowhere that is safe for your to try out the top speed of your "horse", as you call it, unless it's a scooter or something below 250.

Anyone who gives you a suggestion would be incredibly foolish and irresponsible. What if you crash and take someone out?

So go to Bira which is close but with a short back straight or go to CIC where speeds of around 300 kmh have been recorded.

even easier use google I'm sure it knows the top speed of your bike ,gotta be the safest way too......biggrin.png .

Watch the MEHAY idiot on You Tube he'll kill himself on your behalf no problem

I have seen videos with people going up to 250kmh and more on Bangkok highways at night. Maybe 3am is a good time. And as the OP is skilled it should be safe too :)

Foolish idea indeed.

Besides dogs and other animals crossing a road, night time is drunk driving time.

Good luck trying to dodge anything at 150kph+ any time of day.

Can't think of any elevated highways (without tolls) that has a long enough stretch to let a bike run up to it's top speed - unless it's a scooter
