Hua Hin "Local" Taxi

I will be making my first visit to Hua Hin in August and have some questions;

1) Are local taxis readily accessible from Hua Hin airport ?

2) I need to go to my hotel which is situated close to Hua Hin Police Station (61 Alley) 6.9km from the airport.

3) What is a reasonable fare to pay each way?

There seems a lot of information on taxis and fares from Bangkok to Hua Hin but not too much "local" information.

Taxi or tuk tuk, between 200 and 300 baht, between Hua Hin Airport and the police, for a single journey.

If it's there and back, between 300 and 400 b.

Ha-ha, no, not staying "at" the police station, it just happens to be a close landmark.
