Back a few months ago there were horror stories of queuing down the corridors when waiting to submit VV(visitor visa) papers for the UK.

Has anyone been recently and can advise if they are keeping to appointment times or is it still long waiting times.

Thanks for any information

(Cannot edit title but I thought that anyone who had been to the Trendy Building who know what a VV was, obviously I was wrong, sorry to anyone who was mislead)

Was at Trendy last week, not on VV business but for a new UK passport application. Attended at about 12.30 and no sign of any queues for visa applicants.

The passport application was quick - turned up 30mins early but only waited a couple of minutes before being seen by the staff dealing with the appointment.

Whether that is the normal situation now, no idea, but just my experience.

We when on the 17th of July at 1130,she saw the kiosk downstairs. They gave her a queue ticket,up to the 28th floor and waited about 30 minutes. Total time about a hour, not too bad. We got a Visitor visa 2 years ago,but you can't track the process anymore. Only sign up to SMS,we got a SMS later that day, saying her application was at the Embassy. Still waiting for more news. Good luck.
