DEREK-C Posted September 21, 2006 Posted September 21, 2006 Can anybody advise if the Southern Section of the outer ring road (A9) is now complete. I have not been able to find a map to show that it crosses the river. Ideally I'm looking for a route along the A35 from Samut Songkhram, going on to the A9, then linking with the A34 to Chonburi. This possible route would avoid the busy expressways of Central Bangkok. Any advice please.

allane Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 I was down there a couple of months ago. Work on the new bridges was well underway, but still a long way from complete. Probably they will need another 6 - 12 months.

They had a opening ceromony a couple of weeks ago, though it will not be open to traffic until Dec. TH
terdsak_12 Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 My life will be a lot easier once it is complete, probably another year or two off though I reckon.
