I've got this letter many times from the embassy in Bangkok, but it seems now they have changed and may require an appointment.

Do I need an appointment for such a letter, or can I just turn up as before? It's not listed as a service on their website.

I believe that our American cousins have, for some considerable time, had to make appointments to visit their Embassy!
