Can't find a house around Ekkamai / Prakanong / Srinakarin for around 50,000

Desperately trying to find a house in the ekkamai, prakanong area for around 50,000 baht.

2 bed / 2 baths, small garden, parking.. furnished or unfurnished. A little bit further out is no problem too but those are the preferred areas.

Not being in Bangkok right now makes it hard to drive and look around.

If anyone has any tips even all the way down to srinakarin road please let me know.

I see many "House for Rent" signs along Soi (Pridi) 31 that connects Ekkamai and Phra Khanong, also along Suk. soi 65. Of course, one never knows how long they have been posted. I think you will need to come here and wander the back sois yourself.

50,000? Madness!

I used to live in Ekamai Soi 10 / Pridi Panomyong 15 in a fully detached house with parking space for 2 cars, garden, 3 bedrooms for 8,500 Baht a month. Walk around the Sois and get the mrs to negotiate the rental. Mine was initially 10,000 but with a bit of haggling we got it down to 8,500 Baht. The house was freshly renovated (but unfurnished) and we lived there for 10 years without any rental fee hikes.

Seek and you shall find!
