5kg Spools of gasless mig wire

Can anyone point in the direction of a supplier of 5kg Spools of gasless mig wire. I can find 15kg spools everywhere but my machine wont run them.

I am up near Khon Kaen. I have been to a few welding suppliers in KK and all of the big DIY shops but to no avail.

Can anyone help

all i can sugest is that you buy the 15kilo spool and spool some onto your 5 kilo spool,

put a bar through the center hole in the spool of the 15kilo so it spins freely,

then just spool it onto yours, it does work mate,

I seem to be in a chicken and egg situation. I will give it a go as you suggest. I dont have an empty spool. So you know if the 5kg spool is just, one third on the same spool size. Or is the spool actually different?

I am also after some 1.6mm rods (stick welding) i can find them in the u.k and Aus but not in Thailand. I went to star nation in Khon Kaen, they gave me a very funny look as i was asking for something Slightly different. They call the 2.6mm 2.0mm in 6013. Quite bizzare.
