Police Chief Police General Somyos Poompanmuang and Deputy Police Chief Police General Pongsapat Pongcharoen yesterday inspected Phap-phla Chai 2 and Chakkawat Metropolitan Police Stations and gave moral support to the officials stationed in the area.

The team, accompanied by a combined force of about 100 strong including police, military, the Capital's Thetsakit officials and volunteers in Yaowarat area, also conducted a patrol in the neighborhood.

The Police Chief and the Deputy Police Chief urged the authorities to prioritize the security of the people before anything else.

According to Police General Somyos, tourists in Yaowarat still very much enjoyed their visit. He took the opportunity to invite both local and foreign travelers to visit Thailand's famous China Town. The Police Chief also assured the public of the tight security in the area.

Good luck with that ..."security under control" ... When they didnt catch the bomber and probably never will ... I really hope they know that there will come more incidents, just look at Tunisia etc.
