wood lathe

Featured Replies

Anyone know where to buy a decent wood lathe -preferably close to Chiang Rai?

I have no idea but I can’t imagine there is a shop in Chiang Rai which stocks decent wood lathes. That strikes me as a specialty item which you will have to order and have shipped from Bangkok. Check with the service counters in the various hardware stores around town and they may have some brochures you can order from.

Hopefully someone will come along and tell me I am wrong.

As you turn off the main/Super highway to go to the old bus station there's a couple of places there with some interesting looking machinery.

While I've never had the need to investigate it would be the first place I'd look.

It would depend also on what you wanted, something industrial or a home workshop tool.

Sites like Alibaba sell them online.
