Egypt's leader says country in 'ferocious war'

UNITED NATIONS (AP) — Egypt's President Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi said in an interview that the Mideast region needs to cooperate to defeat a worsening terrorist threat that has led to a "ferocious war" in Egypt and created the danger of some countries "sliding into failure."

Korean man found dead in Bophut hotel room

KOH SAMUI: -- A 18.40 on Saturday 26th of October police in Bophut received reports that a man had been found dead in Bophut dead korean for paperhotel room. On arrival at the scene rescue workers discovered the body of a Korean man lying face down naked on the floor at the foot of the bed.

MOU to set up govt. info network signed

BANGKOK, 27 September 2015 (NNT) - Deputy Permanent Secretary for Information and Communication Technology Somsak Khaosuwan has signed an MOU to form a partnership network on the development of government units’ information.

Group Captain Somsak last week signed the MOU in Bangkok in a ceremony presided over by Prime Minister’s Office Minister Suwaphan Tanyuwatthana. The MOU will be used as criteria for the government information network. The information departments of participating ministerial-level government agencies will be treated as a model of government information centers in line with the official Information Act B.E. 2540.

The National Statistical Office and units under the ICT Ministry has been selected as a model government information center for 2015.

Suan Dusit Poll: Over 78% satisfied with government’s tackling corruption

BANGKOK: -- About 78 percent of the people polled by Suan Dusit Poll are satisfied with Prime Minister Prayut Chan-ocha government’s performance in tackling corruption and influential people problems whereas about 81 percent are not happy with the government’s performance in dealing with economic problem.
