Something for my mum (cheap android)

Featured Replies

Hi, I want to upgrade my mum, and teach her how to use facebook, whatsapp, line and such, so when she comeback to europe she can stay in touch and see fam photos etc.

She got some android phone but not so good and old.

Im thinking getting some cheap phone or tablet for her.

It would be good if its got wifi and GSM sim.

It dont need to be top dev.

Im thinking something like Acer phone around 2000thb, or Some cheap tablet.

May b Oppo or Huawei?

Asus?

Or that Android ONE if its worth 5000thb

Any recommendations?

Would be nice if its biggish screen too

Thanks a lot

I guess you love your mum so why not make life easy for her. Just go out and buy her an Apple Ipad Mini 2?

If your looking in the 2k price range, i wouldnt like ot see your mums current phone which as you put it 'not so good and old.' LOL

She's a human being so not upgradeable! Ask her what she wants. If she hasn't a clue, get her the best, don't be cheap.

Asus Zenphones have a built in option for a simplified home screen with large, well labeled icons.

just to let u know, ended up buying Samsung A8 for her, but I couldn't reflash it with EU firmvare as there is none, so ended up flashing my S5 with polish firmvare (so she can read it), and kept A8.

btw.

its my gf turned up with A8

if me I would get that google phone.
