PATTAYA: -- Bad weather and driving with no regard to the poor road conditions is the cause of a fatal road crash on the Sukhumvit Road in South Pattaya which occurred in the early hours of Tuesday, according to Police Investigators.

The crash occurred on the Bangkok-bound carriageway of the main road just before 1am on Tuesday and involved an Isuzu D-Max pick-up truck driven by a man, believed to be in his mid-twenties, who was pronounced dead-at-the-scene.

The victim was carrying no ID with him and according to witnesses, he was driving his vehicle at a high rate of speed despite poor road conditions caused by a period of heavy rainfall.

RIP to young to die, however I am thankful his reckless & careless driving did not cause the death of innocent bystanders, which happens most days on Thailand's roads.

I know this may, to some, sound heartless but 1 to 3 fatalities are not news!Akin to dog bites man -- a tragic but every day occurence which the

authorities have failed, miserably, to correct !

I find that when it starts to rain they drive quicker and take more chances to get to where they're going

Many drivers in this country think they are INVINCIBLE until they find out otherwise.

The brakes failed again

No ,just what passes for a brain here ,in most drivers

Did I not read this yesterday or was that a different one ? If it rains tonight I guess we can read about one more accident tomorrow. Same place same time , hmm any bets .

Not so much bad weather but the inability to deal with the bad weather.

They have not failed. To fail you must try and they have not tried.

Stupid IS what stupid DOES ?

I find that when it starts to rain they drive quicker and take more chances to get to where they're going

of course, they want to get out of the rain and the dangerous driving conditions as quickly as possible,,,, (Thai logic)

RIP. And thank god his accident didnt claim more innocent lives. wondering if he was wearing any seat belts???

Sorry to say, but fortunately this dumb didn't kill anyone, and won't ...
