HI,

Has anyone used the Samsung Smart IPTV app (http://82.......>

Other sources play OK on Kodi , so we wonder why would some channels not play on Kodi when they play on Samsung Smart TV?

Any clues to why much appreciated.

Sound but no video can be a codec problem.

MJKT2014 can you post your m3u playlist that kodi wont play. ?

I guess the server is needing some sort of authentication that only the Samsung app supplies.

Yes, I emailed the Samsung Smart IPTV app supplier and they briefly said it could be a codec problem. I found the app on screen was giving message SIZE FAILED before playing sound only. The exact same IPTV channel m3u list on another older Samsung Smart TV played the sound and video OK. So I suppose the new Samsung are codec incompatible for the m3u list I had uploaded and there is no fix besides using another m3u list?

Sorry these m3u lists keep changing and I deleted that one ages ago. Never did solve that issue, but generally just use Kodi video add-ons now as cannot get a reliable m3u list that last more than a few hours these days.
