Do I need to book in advance and eventually with who? Btw, is it possible to get a taxi alas station wagon or something similar at U-Tapao. Coming in with a bicycle, its in a bike case but still the size of 1 1/2 normal sized suitcases!

Take the minibus from the airport. Around 250 baht. There will always be buses to coincide with the flights.

If you want to take a taxi, there will be that option too. There will be at least a couple of sales booths there offering the minibus and taxi options. Taxi perhaps 800 baht. A bit overpriced, considering the distance.

It's normally a 35-45 minute ride (if not raining or a Thai holiday period).

I allow me one more question. On the return we will be two and I have decided to travel to Suvarnabhumi and have been looking at taxi / van service online and found these include many others...http://www.pattaya4leisure.com/index.html and http://www.pattaya-express.com/ and it would be great if anyone know if they are reliable taxi service companies.
