bake is going in the new plaza directly after Wine Lovers where there has been a slow take up rate of tenants ( I suspect the plaza is overpriced knowing the developer). I see their signs up already.

Unfortunately not correct. The new shop seemed open this morning but is called 'bakefree', not 'bake', and looks and feels completely different.

Ah, that's too bad. I haven't seen the "free" part on their signs, just the word "Bake".

I was in Makro this lunch time so I thought I would try this Bake Free. Shop quite lonely on the right side of the 'mall', only one business open on that side. No customers (and this was lunch time 13.00), I wanted some cooked food, only a 'healthy' breakfast available at 320 baht. Seems to be a healthy food bakery. I declined and had a nice unhealthy lunch at Happy Days on the pier road - special of the day 240 baht (pork in cider casserole, mash potato, veggies).

I cannot see this place staying in business for very long.

Same here, it totally did not appeal to me.

But maybe the more healthy conscious amongst us will keep it alive?
