the problem with the type of foreigners we are getting now is they don't understand the language or the customs they do know how to get drunk and how to relieve themselves and anywhere will do they need to be taught a lesson otherwise they will continue doing the same thing elsewhere

Or stupid festival planners? I can't count the number of times I've gone to big events in Thailand and there were not enough toilets provided--even the police did not press charges against him. Hell, if it had been in the Philippines, the police and half the crowd would have been urinating beside him.

this has nothing to do with this post but i don't understand the problem some people have with the word "farang". The first foreigners who came to Thailand (it still was Siam at this time) were ambassadors of Louis XIV and they were french (farangset). Farang is the word for non Asian people and it's not racist. Learn thai and the origin of the words.

By the way, there still are people all over the world who call the black people "negros" Is this better?

While I agree Farang is not necessarily detrimental, it can be construed as racist. As you said, Farang is derived from the Thai term for French, but it has come to mean any white person—please note, the pisstolero is black and he is referred to as "foreigner". Hmmm, is “black” a racist term or a term for the race?

Negro, likewise, is derived from Negroid, not a racist term, but a term for the race. Anthropology has historically recognized three generic races: Negroid, Mongoloid, and Caucasoid. Whether or not Negro is a racist term, as opposed to a term for the race, is also debatable. It is within the ear of the beholder.
