Thong Ta pickup location at airport.

Featured Replies

Been hunting down but can't find info on where the various hotels pickup at the airport. I'm staying at Thong Ta for one night. I get in at a ridiculous time 5:45 am so any info would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Given your arrival time you'd best call them but their website says;

Free from our hotel : airport transfer from/to Suvarnabhumi Airport for one roundtrip

Meeting point at Suvarnabhumi Airport:
Please note that our representative who shows you Thongta Resort sign is standing at the arrival hall 2nd floor, Exit 4
In case of missing at the airport, please contact our hotel's representative at 084 451 8080 or 02 326 7259

Thanks, no matter how many times I Googled Thong Ta, instead of Thongta, I only got sales pitches from Agoda, Booking etc. Google's alogrithm really gets in the way these days. Now, if only the driver gets up early enough in the morning lol

Thanks again

Be optimistic and follow the crowd.

You can hardly miss the greeters/drivers as everyone arriving has to pass through the "cattle gate" near exit 3 (?).

Lookout for the signs they hold.

A pest.

When searching for "ad free" hotel information one should consider using another search engine.

In the case of the Thong Ta (an excellent place for an overnight stay IMO) they do not have dedicated meeters and greeters. I suspect that the representative is an agent for several hotels. The Thong Ta is a shuttle service of their own minibuses and depart the hotel every half hour. 5 minutes to the hotel. Five star service you don't get for their prices but the staff are very efficient (it is a transit hotel mainly and they handle thousands of fleeting visitors) and also helpful if you speak nicely.

I like the hawker stalls at the end of their cul-de-sac (duck noodle soup very good) but there is enough variety if you walk around. 7/11 is close.

Breakfasts are poor so avoid unless it is included in the price (even then I would avoid it).
