November 18, 201510 yr Is it only me.?. Ask a Thai what KPL they get and the reply is Why.?. No Idea.!! Ask a Ferang and listen for an hour. You're asking the wrong question to them Ask them how many Baht per KM it costs them to run their car - that one they will know Nah ,Daddy Pays or it booked on a Card. Does Your Mrs Know.?. The Thais only know the H.P repay. figure generally. Then ask a Ferang for a loan.

Is it possible to upgrade the screen or does it really not make cost sense It doesn't make financial sense to try and change the infotainment system - nor does it make financial sense to do an aftermarket interior color change. So the choice is: Better infotainment, or the color interior you want?
November 19, 201510 yr Author Hey the new CX9 interior is rather nice http://s2.paultan.org/image/2015/11/mazda_cx-9_2015_interior_04.jpg
November 19, 201510 yr Hey the new CX9 interior is rather nice http://s2.paultan.org/image/2015/11/mazda_cx-9_2015_interior_04.jpg Yeah, it looks like a bit of Porsche thrown into the normal Mazda interior styling. Unless they assemble it in ASEAN though, it's just going to be too much money for a Mazda here.
November 19, 201510 yr Author Yup with a 2.5l it'll be expensive no matter what, with the new tax Surprised Mazda still stick with ye olde dials tho
November 20, 201510 yr The CO2 tax will probably be better for this model than the 50% hit the old model gets for >3.0L / 220hp. As IMHO says, the import duty will kill it. Pity cause its a good size wagon that's not too hard to look at.

Pity cause its a good size wagon that's not too hard to look at. Yep, if they could release the 2.5L turbo and keep the top spec version under 2.5M, I'd probably consider it. They probably won't be able/want to though

November 20, 201510 yr Author Screen sitting on the top? Similar to Audi and looks a whole lot better integrated than Mercedes awkward screen imo
November 20, 201510 yr Author What I don't like about the interior is the way the lower control area ( gear shift/ control knob) sits on top, a floating wooden slab .. Just doesn't quite work
