41000 for the 128 gig with wifi+cellular!!!!

They have got to be kidding. Straight from the online Apple shop Thailand. blink.png

Due to the current exchange rate and lower VAT they are cheaper to buy in Thailand than the UK.

It's hard to believe that anyone would be stupid enough to pay that but no doubt Apple fans will pay anything.

Yes, we are incredibly stupid. Thanks for stating this, as it is always fun to hear from holier-than-thou folks that call others stupid for not making the exact same choices as they make.

Michael

About the same price as the Microsoft's base model Surface Pro, which it's arguably superior to.

Do we really need to turn this into an us vs them thread?

And you are in the Apple forum because?......

This is the Apple forum, for people who have and like Apple products. Might be difficult for you to understand that. So read it a few times.

So cellular only available in 128 gig that puts me off a bit.

I believe it's priced about right.I mean the Mac's are priced at around $1,500.I have an iPad 2 I believe for 3 years now.Don't need to purchase any anti virus programs.Plenty of apps to choose from.If you don't like it buy A less expensive Android tablet.

Apple products I believe are superior to Microsoft.Just my opinion.

Paid for iPad Pro in Thailand (can return if any issues) but all other accessories otw from the US... cheaper...

It this not the ipad that Tim Cook revealed that it superceeds all desktops and laptops on its release last week and makes them redundant ..

If true this ipad will revolutionize all computing in business .

I was playing with it yesterday at the local istore in Phuket. Nice little thing, lighter than I thought it would be.

I have a Samsung 12" tablet and the stylus is included. Price - if I remember correctly - about THB 30,000 for Wifi and 3G.

Thank you

That's nice. But this is the Apple forum, and we're talking account a product with very different specs.

This is just to show you you don't need to spend over THB 45,000 (incl stylus).

Keep an open mind. It's no LM to talk about products Apple is copying.

BTW I use MacBook Pro and even iPhone 6s Plus

You're comparing apples and oranges, if you'll excuse the pun.

How so?

12 " screen

Stylus ( not included on iPad)

Multi window (not available on iPad)

Full HD 2560x1600

Oh and i forgot: I got a iPad Pro too. I can compare abd my vetdict is clear.

A device is not just a screen. The ipad pro is positioned as a laptop alternative, with specs that rival a MacBook pro. A Samsung tablet is just a big Android phone.

How so?

12 " screen - 13 inch

Stylus ( not included on iPad) - meh, should be included, I agree

Multi window (not available on iPad) - it is

Full HD 2560x1600 - 2732 x 2048

Oh and i forgot: I got a iPad Pro too. I can compare abd my vetdict is clear.

so you bought an inferior spec tablet for less money, that's the norm isnt it?

The ipad pro hammers the note pro in every performance test, bar battery life

But does it come with a free stylus?

The Ipad Pro does have multiwindow. Anyways, is there a need for an us vs them discussion? Seriously? blink.png

I bought a magic keyboard to use with my iMac, apparently turning Bluetooth on your iPad it will pair and able to use it there as well, haven't tried yet but it was a nice surprise when the apple people told me it would.

If and when I buy the Pro, I will use the Apple keyboard (the one with battery).

Never really used it so no need to buy a new keyboard. Some of the cases from Ali Baba are quite nice.
