Unfortunately each successful attack will spur the next one on. I am not religious (but was many years ago) but it isn't difficult to understand that these morons are satisfying some twisted fanatical ideal that they believe will give their uncontrolled desire to kill some legitimacy. They think that a suicide attack is the ultimate sacrifice but they are too stupid to realise that if there had to be a rotation of their leaders chiefs had to do the same at some point (when someone was trained to to be the next leader) then maybe it would slow them down. Don't think that would eliminate it altogether, though.

To avert the next EU / U.K. terrorist action... I say - Call for an Armed Citizen Militia in the countries of the EU and U.K. The governments of France, Germany, England and all the governments of the rest of the EU and UK countries are not going to allow citizens to have guns or adequate arms for proper self-defense. These Governments do not want their citizens to have guns - yet at the same time reacting to terrorist acts show that their police forces and Army cannot provide adequate security in a timely enough manner. These Governments should just admit their failures and allow - even sponsor Local Civilian Militias. Citizens Volunteers could be recruited, screened, vetted, trained and armed. Then the Local Militias could be provided ID's and vests/jackets/hats to show their presence and identity. The Governments could assign police officers to work with the Local Militia - therefore becoming force multipliers and quick response security teams. This type of capability would allow a disturbance to be quelled rapidly because the Militia members would already reside in the terrorists target area. But I will not hold my breath waiting for common sense to be applied.

Mao said, "All power comes from the barrel of a gun"...or something like that, So...

You can not use common sense when dealing with guns. Governments darn sure do not want their populations armed and after a few years of screaming guns are bad then the sheep believe it is so. Just like they think the police will stop a robbery or a knife attack.. Besides the answer to the E.U. is just tougher gun laws or so they say... as if that has ever stopped a determined radical from getting his hands on one.. I thought they already had a law against explosives which sure didn't stop the girl from blowing herself and someone else up ?

The Islamic state is chiefly "ISIS" that is to say >Islamic State Iraq and Syria< and those two countries have currently war problems with the Islamic State.

The Islamic state is a religious setup and controls the Islam religion with all the Muslims and they are across the world and they oppose the religions of Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism. etc ...

Europe, UK, US, Russia and particular France are now outlining activities to end the activated war problems causes by the Islam State.

it's not any question. Look at Hannover/Germany: Bombs hidden in ambulance cars......This time detected and next time....? Europe is a target and beside France it might be Germany because they took most of all refugees fleeing IS.

Not all Muslims are terrorists. But it seems that all terrorists are Muslims.

I don't remember any Mohammed MacIlvoys in the Irish troubles!

The Tamil Tigers (LTTE) had a distinct lack of the bearded ones. In modern times suicide-bombings first became common with the Tigers.

Then there was the Air India flight brought down in the Atlantic, Sikh separatists I believe.

So many posters self censor now. By calling these... simply "terrorist attacks" we aver from the source/reason and assign these attacks a similar political/ideological motivation as secular terrorists over the many years previously, as one poster noted extending into the far past. This is no distraction/problem when debating statistics and economic costs of terrorism but if you want to consider if there will be more, or less, "terrorist attacks in Europe" going forward you must call a thing for what it is, and not self censor and sterilize the nature of this issue-ever. The self censoring is why Europe is fertile for attack in the first place.

There will be Islamic terrorist attacks globally ad-infinitum. Well, until all humans are coverted to the religion of peace. And then there will be terrorist attacks between different factions of the religion of peace until someone lets the nuclear genie out of the bottle. Then the world will be fine and dandy once more.
