Up to date computers in Thailand

Featured Replies

I want to buy a dell xps 13 or a Asus zenbook UX305.

I have looked on Advice and JIB websites but they only seem to have earlier generation machines.

Anyone know where I can get one in Thailand?

I'm resigned to paying the exhorbitant prices that prevail here.

I don't live in BKK but I am prpared to go there to get one

Thanks

Try contacting Dell direct. I've spoken to and e-mailed their customer service in Thailand in the past and they were always very helpful, English speaking support available.

A few years ago they had very few retail outlets for their products, mostly corporate customers, so when I wanted some monitors not sold in Thailand they got them for me from Dell Malaysia at the very competitive Malaysian price.

Contacting Dell direct won't get you that far, they'll redirect you to one of their partners, you can't buy online direct in Thailand. I've bought two top spec Dell laptops in Thailand both from Atom Worldwide who were the company Dell put me in contact with. They will place an order directly with the factory you can build a Dell to your own specifications contact them through [email protected]

The Dell factory in Penang has gone now, I used to buy Dells from Malaysia too.

Thanks everybody, I have given up trying to get the Dell.

I have bought an Asus 401LB from Advice.

It's an core i7 5 series with 1 TB HDD and a 24GB msata SSD which is good because I can put in the SSD from my Acer S7 392 which packed up after 1 and a half years (1 year guarantee) and would have cost as much as the Asus to repair.

Once again thanks everybody.wai.gifwai.gif
