Health New COVID-19 Sub-Variant XFG Emerges in Thailand
In the US and the UK, they 'run to' the ER. Typically, a Thai only needs a doctor's note if they are going to be off for three days or greater, but some employers may run a tighter ship. I agree that working on one's own natural immunity, be it through dietary or lifestyle changes, should get much more emphasis than it does. But unfortunately, that doesn't seem to have much traction in the western/civilised world, let alone Thailand. -

Getting a Medical Certificate for Cannabis Use in Thailand
Either the whole business model is about to collapse ....or doctors are going to become millionaires overnight. Thai doctors may prescribe cannabis only under these conditions: Medical necessity – Cannabis must be prescribed only when standard treatments have failed or caused severe side effects. Approved conditions – Conditions eligible for cannabis treatment include (but are not limited to): Chronic pain (e.g., cancer-related) Chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting Epilepsy (especially in children, e.g., Dravet syndrome) Multiple sclerosis (spasticity) Parkinson’s disease Palliative care (e.g., end-stage cancer or HIV) Certain mental health disorders (case-by-case) Prescribed by licensed professionals – Only doctors, dentists, or Thai traditional medicine practitioners who are licensed and trained in cannabis use can issue prescriptions. Is It Only for Weak Medicinal Oils? Not necessarily only “weak” oils, but: Most legal medical cannabis products in Thailand are oils, tinctures, capsules, or topical products. These typically contain low to moderate levels of THC, with a higher emphasis on CBD for therapeutic effects. Smokable cannabis or high-THC products are not legally prescribed in standard clinical settings. The Government Pharmaceutical Organization (GPO) produces standardized cannabis oil with specific THC:CBD ratios (e.g., 1:1, 1:20) to be used under prescription. -

WISE large transfers, any recent problems?
Maybe the Revenue Department insists that international remittances are correctly marked, for personal income tax assessment reasons.
