Was at my local watering hole last night Ban Kruat) when we had a visit from the local plod. No booze on Loi Kratong Day I'm afraid.

The pub I was at is situate at least 1km from the lake where the festival is held. I think it's a blanket ban (at least here in Ban Kruat it appears to be). Might by an idea to check with your local boozer as to what their position is.
