Can I get both 30 and 7 day extensions in one visit to immigration?

No.

The 7 days is given for you to leave in the event of a failed extension.

"Hell" is a subjective term, of course. If "caught" on overstay (asked to produce one's passport / visa or copy by police) - one would be arrested, taken to immigration-jail, likely miss their existi

  • Ubonjoe, I don't see anything in his post that indicates that he already had a 30 day extension, it reads more to me like he was still here on his original 30 day visa exempt entry. Did you get the in

Why do you think that you cannot get another tourist visa?

A friend of mine tried this last week and was denied due to insufficient evidence to extend 7 days!!. They had all his details already from his TV and 30 day extension but requested business cards etc. Very bizarre. He also said the officer was extremely unpleasant to deal with.

No, that would be far too easy.

My friend wanted me to ask if this thread is still relavent?

They still do 7 days denied extension time to leave?

Does it say a big stamp, denied extension?

Yes they still grant 7 days to leave the country.

It is a small stamp saying the extension was denied. No problem for anything after getting the stamp.

Maybe your friend had a bad attitude?  So what happened after? Immigration jail?

No problem?  I would think some immigration officers would mistakenly or subliminally be inclined to deny visa in the future if they see any stamp that says denial.

Immigration do not issue visas so I assume you  mean an extension.

I have never seen a report of it being a problem at immigration or anywhere else.
