Cord-pull Light Switches

Featured Replies

I had some success with my previous enquiry about remote-controlled light switches. Now here's a new requirement!

I need to buy some cord-pull light switches. You know the sort. They are usually used in bathrooms, mounted on the ceiling, and with a cord-pull. You just click-on, click-off!!

Well, can I find them in Phuket? No yet!! Homepro doesn't seem to stock them.

It seems such a basic device, I would think that most lighting/electrical shops would stock them!!

Can anyone suggest a shop where I can buy them?

Thanks VERY much!!

Simon

Surely Home Pro would have them?

I have a funny cord-pull light story... :D A few weeks ago, in a steam room at a 5-star resort, I pulled the light cord to dim the lighting cos I like it dim in the steam bath :D Lo and behold - a flashing red light came on and ... four staff rushed inside with "alarmed" expressions :D I'd pulled the emergency cord - above the light!!! :D

Whoops.... :D:o 5 stars for emergency action!!! :D

You would think that HomePro would stock them, but no...

Also, I asked my local electrical store and they knew what they were, but said they had never seen them in Phuket!

Maybe I'll have to go to BKK for them. Looks like a long day at Pantip Plaza.

Theres a lighting shop just along from Home Pro on the left hand side if you are driving from Tesco, maybe try them.
