I'll be in Pattaya next month. I'm considering staying at the Mercure Hotel Pattaya, Pattaya Centre Hotel, the Adriatic Palace Hotel, or the Residence Garden Inn. Has anybody stayed at these hotels and what do you think? I need a place that is close to walking street, guest friendly, with a nice swimming pool, and about $2000 Baht/night.

Haven't sstayed at any of these hotels but at 2000 baht/night you could stay at almost any hotel on Beach Road. Here is a map that might help you. Have fun!

To be honest I'd go for a deluxe room at Areca lodge.Soi Diana Inn.Not to far for walking street.

Many friends from HK have stayed at the Mercure and all sing it's praises. I have stayed in the past at the Areca, and enjoyed the experience ( although all the safe deposit boxes had been turned over the week before ).
