Drones

Featured Replies

Not sure which forum to put this in, so here goes. I know there are rules/laws against having drones with cameras. I am working out of the country and bought one here and want to bring it back to Thailand with me. I have not heard anything new for over a year about the subject. Does anyone have any experience bringing one through customs? Do they even care anymore? I would have it in one of my checked suitcases on the plane coming through Suvarnabhumi airport.

I bought my DJI Phantom 3 through DM in November. There was no one at customs to check.

I also arrived in suv on a flight from hk with a phantom 3 in a backpack as hand luggage, no questions asked at either end.

Thanks for the links. I tried a search and didn't come across those the new one, as the 2nd 2 are a year old (I found those). To the others, thanks for the replies. That is basically what I was looking for. I just wanted to know if the airport customs would stop me. I'll take care of the rest when I get there. I live in the middle of nowhere and hope to enjoy it from different views.

Thanks again.
