EU EU leaders say Ukraine should have freedom to decide.
No. Simply not the case. 2023 counter offensive pushed the Russians back a lot. The Russians stabalized their lines but in 2024 the push west started in an attrititional warfare way. Right now there are major cities in Donbas in big trouble and the Donbas Oblast as a whole is now threatened. The Ukrainian Army has been stretched thin due to the attritional nature of the ground war and the Russian troops continue to capture ground. Apart from that 3 years ago it was a different war in terms of weaponry. Tanks could be used back then. Not much anymore now that drones are being used. -

Crime CCTV Shows British Man Vandalising Pattaya Woman’s Home
UPDATE Pattaya Bar Worker Accuses British Ex of Violent Attacks Picture courtesy of Khaosod. A Pattaya bar employee has come forward with security footage showing her British ex-boyfriend vandalising her home twice, expressing fears for her safety despite filing police reports. Soraya Chanbubpha, 31, approached local media with CCTV evidence after reporting the incidents to Nong Prue Police Station. She says her former partner has repeatedly damaged her property and worries the situation could escalate to more physical violence. The most recent incident occurred at 03:05. on August 12 when Soraya returned home from work to find her front yard ransacked and damage to her belongings, including her motorcycle. Newly installed security cameras captured the destruction, crucial evidence since a previous attack on August 6 went undocumented The footage identifies the perpetrator as 44-year-old Mr. Walker, a British national who briefly lived with Soraya for just 10 days before she ended the relationship due to his violent behavior. Despite the breakup, he has continued to harass and vandalize her property. “I’m pleading through the media for police to urgently track down and arrest this man before something more serious happens,” Soraya said Adapted by Asean Now from Khaosod 2025-08-13
