But how permission was granted to build the 8-storey high building of S4 that sits atop a hill close to the airport is beyond me - the authorities would not even allow me to put up my ham radio antenna because it was 'too high and could pose a danger to planes'.

At least if there are any stray planes, they will hit S4 before they hit my garden

How can you say with confidence that they definitely are not in a National Park when Thai officials do not even know where the boundaries are and how land titles were issued for land that "appears" to be in the National Park?

Simon, you are forgetting you are a farang, and this is Thailand.

Those National Park boundaries can be changed, for a few baht to the right people.
