Hey guys I have a budget of about 50K/month after utility bills, and I'm looking for a clean apartment to live in for 30-45 days. I do not really care about location, I just want a place that's really clean. Suggestions are greatly appreciated.

For 50K a month you can have your pick.....have you even looked for any ? At that rental price you can live almost anywhere you want in the city

most of the serviced apartments I've looked at start at about 2K baht/night... haven't found anything nice for 50Kish/month

Perhaps you have a different idea of nice than I do:

That is hardly 'taking your pick' is it?

I too have a differing idea of nice than you do. Though Centrepoint Petchburi Soi 15/Pratunam is pleasant enough, the others likely I would not step foot in.

Here are some other candidates to consider. The website is comprehensive.

Sorry I offended your sensibilities. Perhaps after high tea you can talk it over with your servants and get some better info.....ha ha ha

Thank you. Anything specific you would recommend?

I stayed for 8 months at Somerset Lake Point, Sukhumvit Soi 16, whilst working in BKK. 45k baht per month, fully serviced, including all bills etc. 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom place. Really nice. Prior to that, I used Emporium suites for 6 weeks, but didn't really like it.

I usually stay at Centrepoint Silom in an apartment with a separate bedroom, but that may be outside your budget. The they do have Studios, but I haven't checked the prices.

Why would I talk to the servants for better info on the quality of serviced apartments in Bangkok? Do you think that perhaps they get the lowdown via the grapevine? :)
