Featured Replies

Hello

I need remove my external haemorrhoid. Its effect on my life. Cream, diet and etc not helping to me. Doctor advise me surgery.

Anyone can recommend me clinic at BKK where i can remove? I do some research its probably need do surgery with laser.

Thanks in advance.

Actually there are a variety of treatment approaches including banding, sclerotherapy etc as well as laser, and of course surgery.

In Bangkok, almost all outpatient doctor practices are in hospital outpatient depts, not stand alone clinics and the few clinics there are about are usually beter avoided. Many doctors have hours at more than one hospital.

This is an excellent colorrectal specialist: https://www.bumrungrad.com/doctors/Chucheep-Sahakitrungruang

Besides Bumrungrad (a very expensive hospital) he is also at Bangkok Christian Hospital but only once a week, not sure but may be Tuesdays, anyway have to call them to find out as they recently "redid" their website and the result is unusable. http://bch.in.th/en/contact-us-en.html

Lastly he can also probably be accessed through the "after hours" clinic at Chulalongkhorn hospital where he is on the faculty. That will be the least expensive option but will involve navigating a system all in Thai and possible a wait list. Monday - Friday 4:30 PM - 8 PM, have to go in person to make appointment.

If it were me I'd probably opt for seeing him at Bkk Christian, less hassle and still much cheaper than Bumrungrad
