I'm looking for a recommendation for an orthopedist in Bangkok who may specialize in feet. I have a history of both plantar fasciitis and Morton's Neuroma. Lately I've been having some symptoms indicative of one or the other (or both !) and would like to get a physician's opinion.

Much thanks for any ideas !

Oh yeah, but maybe they worked against me this time !

I saw Dr. Bavornrit Chuckpaiwong at Bumrungrad as recommended by Sheryl. A very impressive fellow, affable and fluent in English. Exam and X-rays followed by a diagnosis of sesamoiditis. So, I'm walking too much on hard surfaces, maybe too much on the front of my foot and possibly my special inserts to help arch support and symptoms of Morton's Neuroma have actually contributed to the problem. So, a number of things to change and sort out. No fractures was the good news.

I infrequently go to Bumrungrad because they are so expensive. No surprise then that my intensely itemized bill was $5,300 baht plus change. Not bad if I was in the states but a bit over the top for Thailand. But hey, a very good physician so I ain't complaining much.....
