Is there some reason for that specific scanner? Most people today just use there combined printer as built in scanners are excellent and whole thing is quite inexpensive (as sold at loss to obtain later ink sales).

Thanks for that. What a rip. I can get it from the US for less than that - including shipping! Sigh.

Don't forget the Import Tax ;)

For scanning film, the V600 is considered to be one of the best scanners for the money. Highly regarded by photographers. This is what I would be using it for mainly.

I have an HP M1132 MFP printer/scanner, and it does a pretty poor job of scanning photographs. :(

Don't forget the Import Tax wink.png

I think I can keep that to a minimum through creative invoicing.

I looked around Bangkok and could only find the V39 in OfficeMate. I ordered the V600 through OfficeMate for 11,900 baht. It takes them 1 week to get it from Epson. I spoke with Epson and they said most places do not stock them and that they are ordered from companies such as OfficeMate. Could not buy one directly from Epson. Lazada had some Epson Scanners for sale, but not the V600.
