Driving Chaofa west north bound, turning left at Honda the road leading to PSU. There is a set of traffic lights where you turn right to Headstart/Central.

Turn left at this traffic light is a new road. Where does this new road go to and has anybody used it?

google maps maybe can help

Its goes around and re-joins the same rd it starts at, more latex places for the Chinnese to enjoy coming!

it goes to the middle of nowhere and comes around to meet somewhere at the crossroads.

Why has the Anuphas family got so greedy? Their land was unspoilt for so long, now it's just a whole raft of Chinese tourist traps. Oh, and Headstart School, in which they also now have an interest.

Not long. Maybe 500 meters.

My guess is someone with some influence bought some land back there and needed a nice access road.

Google maps will not help on new roads. Cuts travel time by about 2 seconds. giggle.gif

Amazing how many Talking Heads "Road to Nowhere" there are in the Kingdom. Someone is getting paid!

It's a beautiful road.

Yes, it goes nowhere.

Per memories on the wall last night, David Byrne, Talking Heads, "You're on a road to nowhere" .............SP you beat me to it man!

I am sure that some of you remember that there was a "Project" for a tarmac road from Chalong to Patong.

A Project as usual?

Much of that Chalong to Patong road is paved, just the last steep section has yet to be paved. They were working in it early last year when I had a look. I must have a new look next time I am over there.
