Shot in the dark here.

Accidently smashed my Toshiba TV that was in my office. So I decided to move my Minix 6 to my bedroom.

When I set it up on the Sony TV and switch the input to the correct HDMI channel nothing appears on screen. Completely blank.

So I took it downstairs and plugged it into my LG TV and it works perfectly.

So there it is, Toshiba and LG work but Sony doesn't.

Has anyone encountered this problem with Minix/Sony?

Any ideas gratefully accepted!

p.s. I did Google it. Others seem to have the same problem with an older Minix but I couldn't see a solution.

Check the HDMI settings when it is on the working TV. What is the HDMI ouput set to?

It may be that the box is set to 1080p but the TV will only do 720 or a similar issue.

Try changing settings to a less HD level and then trying again on the problem TV.
