a friend and I have just moved to Bangkok for the next few years and we play a fair bit of golf. We've been buying the used balls of the guys at the courses, but does anyone know a market stall or shop somewhere that we could buy in bulk? We practice a fair bit and go through them. Everytime we ask the local guys about buying larger amounts they show us 20 - 30 and that seems to be it. We're looking for 500+ to whack around as practice.

Are there any market stalls around or people selling at night markets we could go and speak to.

We've been to Thaniya Plaza and asked there but the staff kept telling us to "come back when the manager" was on, which was never when we were there.

If anyone has any ideas or input that would be great.

just thought I would add, I guess we're just looking for some other options, the guys at the courses we play don't seem any help but I'm guessing there are other local sellers out there who may be able to help. If there are any market stalls around or anything like that and you could let us know where that would be great.

Talk to the caddies or the caddy master at the clubs you are playing. They might provide some ideas for you.

500+ balls to whack around as practice where? not on any course I imagine, why not just go to the driving range which has distances marked so you can judge which club projects the ball in the area you are aiming. A cold beer can be had there too.

If your looking for AAA balls to hit I doubt anyone has that amount used in stock as they sell them daily.
