Bangkok, 12 February 2016 (NNT) – The Prime Minister’s Office Minister has urged students to be moral and vigilant against corruption for the peaceful future of the nation.

At the awards ceremony for “Political Science Honors” of Thammasat University’s Political Science Faculty, Prime Minister’s Office Minister ML Panadda Disakul gave a special speech titled “Capable, Moral and Happy”. In the speech, ML Panadda stated that national development and corruption cannot occur at the same time and urged the nation’s youths to use their skills and knowledge to lead the Kingdom towards prosperity. He bid them to be a part of the fight against corruption and recommended they find just individuals to serve as role models.

The Political Science Honor is awarded to students that while achieving academic success also perform social work. A total 57 students received the honor at the latest ceremony.

I suppose all the students were in the uni through hard work and merit, no bought places or passes etc and now they're being told to be moral and help lead the nation.

Won't be hard to study great role models though as they're aren't many.

Tzzzzzzzzzz isn’t studying political science or social science in Thailand a bit like studying Christian theology in Saudi Arabia? And if not for the laughs, what is such a diploma or degree worth outside the Land Of Science? A diploma in “Coupology” would be much more credible.

I am sure he left out mentioning the scandal of the high-tech microphones and the expensive clocks in his lecture.

Good you got a degree in PS, now where will you get a job? With some political party? You might be better off getting a degree in basket weaving or bar tending, you then would be able to get work.

I am sure he left out mentioning the scandal of the high-tech microphones and the expensive clocks in his lecture.

And the park and statues....

Didn't a load of thrm get arrested at a train station recently for doing exactly what Panada is asking them to do now?

He bid them to be a part of the fight against corruption and recommended they find just individuals to serve as role models.

well, at least he gave them a real challenge.

Did he use one of the 100,000 THB microphone he bought last year for that conference? whistling.gif
