I have just moved house and the new living room is much better lit than the old one.

So now there is a shine on the screen of my 10 inch notebook.

I've tried pulling the curtains but it doesn't work. There are 2 pairs of double doors that need to be kept open or the room will boil.

Is there a product I can buy for this or does somebody know a quick fix for this.

The notebook is a Lenovo Flex 10

One of the problems found working under Windows.............................tongue.png

Sounds like a bit of reorganization of the furniture in the room is called for to stop the glare. Either that or find the source of the glare and address that. Simply adjusting the brightness of the screen may help a bit, but it won't get rid of the reflection.

The above said, as it is a 10" notebook, you should be able to use that anywhere.

Yep,

The glare is coming from the 2 pairs of double doors and I can't close the

with out the room overheating.

I just thought there might be a product that I could stick to the screen or some kind of

cover to provide shade that I could buy.

It's not so bad when I'm sitting up typeing. It's when I"m laid back watching a video

that it's at it's worst.

There are many anti-glare screen coverings, check in your local JIB or similar shop. They will cut down on the overall screen brightness but not much. Most use static attraction so no hurt to the screen but don't know what effect on touch screens, best to bring to shop and try out on the spot.

This is why I always buy matte screened monitors for my staff. They're not quite as sharp but having very little in the way of reflections more than makes up for it.
