Any musicians out there?

Featured Replies

Hi, looking for any musicians interested in starting a rock band, I'm not talking about the usual Eagles and the same old stuff churned out in the various establishments, but a high energy modern decent rock band.Only for fun of course.

Try calling into ThaiWai Jr. weekday evenings, at Khao Takiap or ThaiWai at Paknampran on Sunday afternoon. Speak to Richard, the owner. He has jam sessions there, and many good musicians used to come to play there.

I heard that Thai Immigration watchs those sessions and causes problems for musicians playing in public without work permits.....I used to go to the one out in Pranburi is that still opened. It was a lot of fun. Only thing is everytime I went out there I got stopped by the police. at least four times. In a car and motorcycle.....checking people for drinking. Helmets.......real shame the place was ok

go to Saxophone lounge Soi 94 and hang out and ask around.

and immigration is not joking so be cool were you perform.

there are set rules for one time performances.

Check out the blues bar near golden beach cha am, theres a few musicians hanging out there and just about to open a music lounge down stairs with jam sessions

TenDreams I play guitar, however i'm more interested in writing and recording new material rather than playing tired old songs for the Hua Hin masses and tourists. Just need some motivation.

Difficult to find around these parts. What do you play? Are you interested?

Who needs other musicians when you've got Ryohei?
